Nickle Creek Vineyard

In 2007, the O’Connor’s discovered the property in Foster RI and after much research deemed the gravelly soils, warm days, and cool nights to be ideal for winemaking. Over the next ten years Steven, Sheri and their two sons (Nicholas & Kyle, for whom the vineyard in named after) planted grapes and constructed the current winery on the property, and in 2012 opened Nickle Creek Vineyard. Later that same year, the first wines bearing the NCV label were produced, bottled and sold. The vineyard and winery have grown steadily in production yet the team at Nickle Creek continue to focus on estate grown and locally sourced grapes for their wines. Numerous Gold Medals and Best of Class Awards throughout the years attest to recognition by industry peers as well as by the public to the excellence of Nickle Creek’s wines.
